Lessons Learned From My First Month on Medium
An appreciation post
I can’t believe it’s already been one month since I started my writing journey on Medium. This platform has allowed me to connect with so many talented creators across the world, even in just a few short weeks.
To mark my first month as an active Medium writer, I wanted to highlight some of the amazing writers who have already taught me so much through their work:
Rolando Ochoa — His advice on reading out loud has been a helpful reminder to be more thoughtful before hitting publish. I’m so grateful for his actionable techniques, I will be using them to further enhance my writing.
Chioma Anozie — Her guidance emphasized the importance of marketing and intentionally building an audience as a creator. She offers helpful tips for getting your work seen amidst the noise. I aim to be more proactive about promotion moving forward.
Emily Joseph — Her perspectives on compassionate communication came at the perfect time as I navigate some interpersonal challenges. Her perspectives on speaking and listening from the heart will stick with me.
Dr.Ramesh Chaurasiya — His beautiful reflections on finding joy in ordinary moments during his internship inspired me to appreciate the small delights each day.
